1. Understanding the Two Pathways
Welcome to the 6-Week Transformation Challenge! Whether your goal is weight loss or body composition/hypertrophy, this program is designed to guide you step by step. Here’s what to expect:
For this challenge you will choose one of the following pathways:
Weight Loss Pathway:
- Focuses on fat loss while maintaining lean muscle.
- Prioritizes caloric deficit, metabolic conditioning, and high-protein intake.
- Combines resistance training with cardio for maximum fat burn.

Body Composition/Hypertrophy Pathway:
- Aims to build lean muscle while keeping fat gain minimal.
- Prioritizes progressive overload, muscle-specific training, and high-caloric nutrient-dense meals.
- Utilizes resistance training with strategic recovery.

Whichever path you choose, you’ll track progress, stay accountable, and follow an evidence-based approach.
2. The Importance of Accountability
Accountability is key to staying on track. Here’s how to ensure you stay committed:
✅ Track Your Workouts & Nutrition: Use an app such as myfitnesspal, a journal, or a spreadsheet.
✅ Check-In Weekly: Reflect on your progress, challenges, and adjustments.
✅ Find a Support System: Challenge a friend or join an online fitness community.
✅ Stay Disciplined, Not Just Motivated: Motivation fades, but discipline creates habits

3. Setting SMART Goals
Setting vague goals like “I want to lose weight” is ineffective. Instead, we use SMART Goals to make them actionable:
SMART Criteria | Example (Weight Loss) | Example (Hypertrophy) |
Specific | Lose body fat | Gain muscle size |
Measurable | Drop 5lb of fat | Add 10lb to squat max |
Achievable | Based on sustainable habits | Strength progression in 6 weeks |
Relevant | Aligns with personal goals | Fits training routine |
Time-Bound | Achieve in 6 weeks | Hit PR by end of challenge |
Your challenge: Write down one SMART goal for the next 6 weeks!

4. How to Track Progress
A. Body Weight 📉
- If you haven't done so already, get the initial measurements done at MVP Zone.
- Weigh yourself once a week, ideally in the morning before eating or drinking.
- Keep in mind that fluctuations are normal due to water retention, glycogen storage, and digestion.
B. Body Measurements 📏
- Track progress beyond the scale by measuring waist at the narrowest, hips at widest, chest at widest, right bicep, right thigh,.
- Do this once at the beginning and at the end of the challenge to see fat loss or muscle growth trends.
C. Progress Photos 📸
- Take front hands down, front flexing biceps, side, and back also flexing biceps. photos every 2 weeks in the same lighting & pose.
- Wear similar clothing for accurate visual comparison.

D. Performance Tracking 🏋️
- For hypertrophy: Log your weights, reps, and sets for key lifts.
- For weight loss: Track cardio duration, intensity, and recovery time. You can use an app like on your apple watch.
5. Action Steps for Today
✅ Record your core strength test results.
✅ Record for comparison to week 6.
✅ Identify areas for improvement (e.g., lower back stability, rotational core strength).

Final Takeaway
This challenge is not just about the end result but about building lifelong habits. Commit to tracking your progress, setting SMART goals, and being accountable.
