Welcome to Week 1 of the Challenge.
This week has a very simple focus:
WEEK 1 — RESET & DE-BLOAT
Theme: Calm the body. Create momentum.
This is not a push week.
It’s a settling-in week — for your digestion, your nervous system, your joints, and your routine.
If you’ve felt inflamed, puffy, tired, bloated, or “off” lately… this week is designed to help your body exhale.
WHAT WEEK 1 IS (AND ISN’T)
Week 1 IS: Simplifying food
Reducing inflammation
Reintroducing movement gently
Re-establishing consistency
Week 1 is NOT: Going all-out
Crushing yourself with workouts
Eating perfectly
Chasing the scale
When the body calms down, progress comes faster later.
TRAINING EXPECTATIONS (READ THIS CAREFULLY)
How many workouts?
If you’ve been training consistently:
Aim for 3–5 MVP Zone classes
If you’re new, coming back, or managing injuries:
2–3 classes is PERFECT this week
More is not better right now. Your body needs time to adapt.
What to focus on during workouts:
Learning movements and pacing
Choosing weights that feel challenging but very manageable
Asking for modifications whenever needed
Examples:
Knee issue? → Reduce range of motion, slow the tempo
Shoulder issue? → Lighter weights, neutral grips, swap for different movement
Feeling sore? → That’s normal — keep moving gently and lean into recovery
If something feels painful (not just uncomfortable), stop and ask a coach.
